About Us

Having grown up in the Lake District & Cumbria, we are very proud of the place we call home. We started our journey in wicker during lockdown (January 2021), thinking of how best to showcase the Lake District while supporting small businesses that we’ve grown up enjoying. We knew of many people who loved visiting the area for holidays and weekend trips and loved taking a piece of the Lakes home with them. While hiking, walking round the various lakes, meres & waters and enjoying the stunning views, our vision for a small business began to develop. Fast forward a few months and The Lake District Hamper Company is now here.

To provide the highest quality, luxury products all from locally sourced produce or using local craftsmanship. Everything we sell has a story interwoven with the Lake District and Cumbria, and we love nothing more than celebrating this within our hampers!
